Two WestRock Covington Mill Employees Test Positive For Covid-19   Covington, VA (May 15, 2020) - The AlleghanyJournal.com reached out to WestRock's Covington Communications Manager, Rebecca Johnson after hearing of employees at the plant apparently testing positive for Covid-19. Here is the company's statement on the matter: "Our priority continues to be safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our teammates and those with whom we come in contact, as well as ensuring that we continue to be able to meet our customers’ needs. "We recently learned two employees at our Covington mill tested positive for COVID-19. The employees followed proper protocol and advised their manager who notified mill leadership. The employees are receiving the appropriate care and support. "We have been following proper sanitation protocols in the plant and are confident all procedures were followed in this instance. "
