Covington City Council Meets Friday, June 19, 2020   Covington, VA (June 16, 2020) - There will be a Called Meeting of the Council for the City of Covington FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2020 AT 12:00 NOON in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 333 W. Locust Street, Covington, Virginia. The purpose of said meeting is as follows:       1.     To consider Second Reading of Ordinance O-20-05 regarding Levying Real Estate Taxes and Public Services Taxes for FY 2020/2021 (No change in rate) 2.     To consider Second Reading of Ordinance O-20-06 regarding Levying Personal Property/Machinery and Tools Taxes for FY 2020/2021 (No change in rate) 3.      To consider Second Reading of Ordinance O-20-07 Budget Appropriations for FY 2020/2021 4.     To do any and all things necessary and proper to accomplish the above.
