Pastor Jenkins Gets Unique Birthday Honor   Covington, VA (June 20, 2020) - On June 20, 2020 the members of Pine Street Baptist Church celebrated their pastor's 45th birthday along with several members of the community at large. "We would like to thank all of the participants who took part in the parade and to Roger Patterson for his service. Special thanks to Chief Smith for his telephone call and personal birthday wishes along with participants from the EMS's and Fire Department of Covington, Virginia," said Linda Cook. As Rev. Jenkins said during his morning message the next day, "People aren't always kind and when they are, they don't have to be kind to you." "So we the members of Pine Street Baptist Church say thank you from the depths of our hearts for all of the kindness shown to our pastor," said Cook.
