Alleghany County School Division Personnel Actions Noted (10_20_20)   Low Moor, VA (Oct. 21, 2020) - At the conclusion of closed session at the Alleghany County School Board office on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 the School Board took the following personnel action:      The School Board approved the appointment of Whitney N. Nida as a full-time bus driver at Clifton Middle School. Tereva M. Blake was approved as teacher assistant at Mountain View Elementary School and Ashli N. Fridley as a teacher assistant at Callaghan Elementary School. Taylor R. Carter and Adam W. Livesay were approved as substitute teachers. Extra-Curricular appointments approved at Alleghany High School include Brian D. Ellwood as Varsity Assistant Football Coach and Head JV Girls Soccer Coach, Samantha L. Gray as Varsity Assistant Swim Coach, and Kristen S. Tyree as Head Varsity Volleyball Coach. The School Board accepted the resignation of Mark A. Jefferson as the Varsity Assistant Track Coach. The School Board accepted the retirement of Jackie A. Almarode, Program Coordinator and Charles A. Fornwalt, Maintenance Journeyman. The School Board accepted the resignation of Tiffany A. Rose, part-time custodian at Callaghan Elementary School.
