Alleghany County Electoral Board Makes Covid-19 Announcement   (Editor's note: the following is a verbatim post from the chairman of the Allegany County Electoral Board.) Low Moor, VA (Oct. 28, 2020) -In the morning of October 28, 2020 an employee in Alleghany County Registrars office was notified of a positive Covid 19 test. The Registrar's office was shut down and professional cleaning for the building began. The local Health Department has been notified. The State Election office has been contacted and they are in process of approving an alternate location so the Registrar office can be reopened.
