Sets Called Meeting, Work Session Dec. 1, 2020   Covington, VA (Nov. 27, 2020) - There will be a Called Meeting of the Council for the City of Covington on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2020, AT 6:00 P.M. telecommunicated electronically from the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 333 W. Locust Street, Covington, Virginia. Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus health emergency and pursuant to Chapter 1283 of the 2020 Acts of Assembly, the Covington City Council will convene electronically to transact the business statutorily required or necessary to continue the operations of the City. To consider Draft Ordinance O-20-16 regarding Amending and Reenacting Certain Sections of Chapter 42, Taxation, of the Code of the City of Covington. 2. To consider Draft Ordinance O-20-17 regarding Amending and Reenacting Certain Sections of Chapter 19, Stormwater Management, of the Code of the City of Covington. 3. To consider Draft Resolution O-20-36 to extend the date upon which personal property and real property taxes are paid in the city of Covington. 4.
