Clifton Forge Public Library Updates Covid Procedures

Clifton Forge, VA (Jan. 6, 2021) - Due to the increase of Covid cases both locally and regionally, the Clifton Forge Public Library will be returning to curbside service.

Curbside service will be effective starting Monday, January 11, 2021. Staff will be available by phone Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Books and DVDs may be requested by phone or through the library web site.

Access to the library is through the parking lot doors only. When you arrive at the library parking lot, please knock on the library window near the bench, or phone us. A staff member will set your bagged items outside the door for you to pick up.

Patrons may return materials in the library drop box, located on the parking lot side of the building.

Patrons needing faxing, scanning, or copying services may phone to notify staff they are outside the library. Staff will receive their materials at the door. While the patron waits outside, the staff member will complete their request, then return the materials to the patron.

The library will have a limited availability of computers by appointment only. Computers may be requested for a 45-minute time frame between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Face masks and social distancing remain a requirement for any patron or staff interaction.

Online resources remain available through the library’s website at www.cliftonforgelibrary.org. Wi-Fi also continues to be available to the public.

To request books and DVDs or to schedule computer time, call the library at 540-863-2519.

The library is located at 535 Church Street.
