Clifton Forge, VA (April 6, 2021) - Another box ticked on the "to do list" as renovations for Booker T. Washington Park move forward. The concrete slab was poured by Hayne Yarborough last week. The slab rests under the new Pavilion at the Park. This slab will make it easier and safer for community gatherings, cook-outs, family reunions, corn hole games, and in addition provide a shady place to rest after hiking the Hazel Run Trail. Slowly drive by the Park (or stop a spell) and see how nice it looks. And if you would like to donate to this historic community Park, please go to the Booker T.
