CONSENT AGENDA

     â€¢     MINUTES          Council Meeting          May 11, 2021

RECOMMENDATION: Approve minutes of May 11, 2021

ACTION ITEMS

     â€¢     PROPOSED FY 2021-2022 Operating and Capital Budgets

     â€¢     An Ordinance Imposing And Levying Taxes Within The Town of Clifton Forge, Virginia Upon Real Property For The Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2021 and Ending June 30, 2022, and Upon Personal Property and Machinery and Tools For the Calendar Year Beginning January 1, 2021, and Ending December 31, 2021.

RECOMMENDATION: waive the 2nd reading and approve the Ordinance

     â€¢     An ordinance to amend Section 86-95, Water Services Charges and Fees beginning July 1, 2021.

RECOMMENDATION: waive the 2nd reading and approve the Ordinance

     â€¢     An ordinance to amend Section 86-556, Wastewater Services Charges and Fees beginning July 1, 2021.

RECOMMENDATION: waive the 2nd reading and approve the ordinance

     â€¢     Resolution Adopting the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Operating and Capital Budgets for the Town of Clifton Forge, Virginia and Appropriating the Requisite Funds for Said Budgets.

RECOMMENDATION: waive the 2nd reading and approve the Ordinance

     â€¢     Request by Clifton Forge Main Street to hold a 4th of July Parade on Sunday, July 4, 2021 from the 400 Block of E. Ridgeway Street to the Clifton Forge Fire Dept on D Street, with line up at 11:45am and the parade starting at 12:30pm. ALSO requesting permission to place banners around Town directing people to the events.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the request for the parade and to place banners around Town directing people to the events.

     â€¢     Resolution honoring the service and career of Wayne G. Strickland on his retirement as Executive Director of the Roanoke Valley- Alleghany Regional Commission.

RECOMMENDATION: approve, and sign, the Resolution
