Danny Goodson Band to Perform at the Masonic Amphitheatre Summer Music Series

Clifton Forge, VA (July 19, 2021) - The Danny Goodson Band from Staunton, VA will perform at the Masonic Amphitheatre as part of the Summer Music Series on Friday, July 30 at 7:30 pm.
The Goodson Band has been performing for over 25 years. Influenced by dad, Chuck Goodson, the Goodson children inherited a strong desire to play music. Chuck Goodson was a professional jazz drummer and played in the Army Jazz band, and also played for several Presidential inauguration ceremonies. The Goodson’s grew up listening to 70’s rock and blues which influenced their style. The band has opened for The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, and Johnny Paycheck.
Members include: Danny Goodson, Vocals guitar and saxophone; Janice Goodson, Vocals, bass guitar; Elvin Davis, Lead guitar and vocals; and Curtis Hite: percussion. The versatile band plays everything from country, blues, rock and funk.
