Covington Council Sets Closed Session Thurs., Jan. 20, 2022   Covington, VA (Jan. 17, 2022) - There will be a Called Meeting of the Council for the City of Covington on THURSDAY, JANUARY 20, 2022, at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers of City Hall located at 333 W. Locust Street, Covington, Virginia. The purpose of said meeting is as follows: 1. To enter into closed session pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act Section 2.2.-3711(A)(1) of the Code of Virginia the purpose of discussing specific council-appointed personnel. 2. To do any and all things necessary and proper to accomplish the above.
