Alleghany Co. School Board Personnel Actions   Low Moor, VA (Jan. 19, 2022) - At the conclusion of closed session on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 the School Board took the following personnel action: Charity T. Hale was approved as the Alleghany Highlands Healthcare Advancement (AHHA) Grant Staff. The School Board also approved the appointment of Winter B. Crance as a teacher at Callaghan Elementary School and Rachel K. Smith as a teacher at Mountain View Elementary School. Brooke N. Allman was approved as a school nurse at Callaghan Elementary School. Jessi L. Turner was approved as Health and Physical Education teacher at Clifton Middle School. Nicole F. Eggleston was approved as school secretary/attendance at Alleghany High School. Laura O. Forbes was approved as a substitute teacher assistant. In extra-curricular activities, the School Board has approved Dusty R. Rowland as JV Head Baseball Coach and Kellie R. Cash as JV Head Softball Coach, both at Alleghany High School. Arturo Y. Martinez was approved as academic competition assistant coach at Alleghany High School. The School Board accepted the resignation of Amanda M. McNabb as school counselor and Nicole E. Shifflett as school secretary/attendance both at Alleghany High School. The School Board also accepted the resignation of Katelyn S. Holestin as JV softball head coach at Alleghany High School.
