Alleghany Cruisers Hold Annual Car Show in Concurrence with 'Relay for Life'

Covington, VA (Aug. 2, 2025)— The Alleghany Cruisers held their annual Car Show, coinciding with the "Relay For Life," from 3:00 p.m.—8 p.m. yesterday. The sole purpose of the car show was to help raise money for "Relay For Life."

The Alleghany Cruisers are a local nonprofit organization and car club founded in 2021 by Robert Floyd, Kenny Curry, and Chris Tingler, all of whom share one very specific thing: their love of cars and community. Since then, the club/nonprofit has accumulated over 40 members, held dozens of car shows, and helped raise thousands of dollars in the community.

"Relay For Life" is just one of the many causes they support and help raise money for. All proceeds from last night's car show went towards "Relay For Life" who then donated the money to the American Cancer Society.

After speaking with Robert Floyd, we learned the car show raised about $600 for "Relay For Life."
