Patricia Gail Vass Hoke, 61, of 11 Meadow Ridge Drive in Waynesboro, Virginia died Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville.

Mrs. Hoke was born August 31, 1958 in Lebanon, VA, a daughter of the late Charles Vass, Jr. and Ruth Kessinger Vass.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Hoke, Sr. in 2007; a son, Dennis Hoke, Jr., and a sister, Margie Potter.

She was employed as a Client Account Manager for Manpower, Inc.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Sammy Feury of Covington; her sister, Joy Tingler of Covington; her brother, C.E. Vass, III and his wife, Terrie of Fincastle and three grandchildren, Duell Lee Feury of Covington, Rica Mae Rubbles and Destanie A. Hoke, both of Waynesboro, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Belanger officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia.
