Troutville Resident Was California Native

Pandora (Pandy) Lynn Wright, 61, of Troutville, Virginia gained her wings on December 28, 2019.

Pandora was born on February 4, 1958 to the late Wylene Carter and Ed Thornton in San Jose, California.

She was a loving wife, mother and sister. She held strong in her faith even through her battle with cancer. She never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone. She was an inspiration to her husband, children and grandchildren.

She loved spending time with her big family and enjoyed camping trips and fishing even if she didn't catch anything. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she would spend days decorating.

Pandora was preceded in death by her mother, Wylene, father, Ed and sister, Juanita Lacks.

Pandora is survived by a loving family and her husband, Walter Wayne Wright; her dog, Willie Wright; her children, Jennifer and Gator Harmon, Sabrina and Brian Wright; Floyd "BJ" and Ashley Wolfe, Tabatha and Eric Huffman and her 13 grandchildren that she was so proud of: Tyler Fridley, Nickolas Wolfe, Abigail Spence, Briana Wright, Alexander Wright, Brennan Wright, Autumn Wolfe, Brayden Wolfe, Kenley Wolfe; Memphis Wolfe, Chandler Wright, Cayden Evans, and Emma Huffman; as well as her two sisters, Doris and Lori Thornton.

A memorial service will be held at Loving Funeral Home on Friday January 3, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Stevie Richards officiating. Afterwards, the family is invited to meet at BJ and Ashley Wolfe's residence.
