Edgewood Presbyterian Church Worked With Stone & Thomas/Peebles In Lewisburg

Dorothy Rose Dotson Napier, 87, of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Greenbrier Health Care Center.

Born January 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Vosca Kelly Dotson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edgar Walker Napier Sr. and son, Eddie. She's also preceded in death by her 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children; son, Larry of Lewisburg, and daughters, Kathy Wiseman (Jeff) of Morgantown, Pam Snedegar of Fairlea, and Sherry Baker (Darrel) of Lewisburg; six grandchildren, Brandon Baker of Lewisburg, Justin Snedegar (Emmy) of Saint Monans, Scotland, Amanda Hoffman (Matt) of Tampa, Florida, Kelli Snedegar (Logan) of Morgantown, Brenna Baker of Lewisburg, and Kaitlyn Wiseman of Morgantown and three great-grandchildren, Rosalie, Michael, Emma; two special sisters-in-law, Marilyn Dotson of Sanford, Florida and Ingrid Napier of Valparaiso, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.

She was an enabler of The WV Presbyterian Women, and she held many offices at Edgewood Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg. Most will remember her from her many years working at Stone & Thomas/Peebles.

There will be a private family grave side service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, followed by visitation at Edgewood Presbyterian Church, 162 Harper Road, Lewisburg, WV at noon and a memorial dervice beginning at 1 p.m. officiated by Larryetta Ellis. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to attend a luncheon in the Great Hall directly behind the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: Edgewood Presbyterian Church Growth and Improvement Fund, 162 Harper Road, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
