Barbara Fay Wiseman, 70, formerly of Scott Hill and the Woodlands, died December 31, 2019 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor.

Mrs. Wiseman was born September 13, 1949 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Ira Walters and Bess Venters Atkinson Wiseman.

She worked as a laborer at Jackson River Enterprises and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While at Scott Hill she attended the Mr. Carmel Church and loved word searches, coloring books, Elvis and country music.

Surviving are her two sisters, Linda Mayer of Covington and Patricia Henry and husband, Joseph of Bel Air, MD; three nieces, Victoria Roberts and husband, Nick, Rebecca Henry, and Diana Sergent and husband, Joe; three nephews, Michael Mayer, Tim Mayer and wife, Julie, and Matthew Henry and a number of great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday January 5, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Branch President Ray Lockhart officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Sunday.
