Miss Ivorey Lois Dressler, age 96, of Low Moor, Virginia died Sunday, January 5, 2020.

Miss Dressler was born May 30, 1923 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late John W. Dressler and Ethel Frye Dressler.

She was a former employee for both Industrial Rayon and H. O. Canfield.

Ivorey served as a caregiver for a number of years for the elderly. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Miss Dressler is survived by a brother, Paul K. Dressler and wife, Betty; a number of special nieces and nephews, Kenny Dwayne Dressler and wife, Ellie, Kimberly Sue Patsell and husband, John, Dawn Faye Dressler Winston and husband, Thomas, Eunice Dressler Clark and husband, Danny, Lisa Garst and husband, Reid; and several great nieces and nephews, Drew, Sarah and Ian Patsell, Ashby Garst, Justin and Travis Dressler.

In addition to her parents, Miss Dressler was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin David Dressler and Robert Julian Dressler as well as a foster brother, Olin Clyde Dressler.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug E. Hollenbeck officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
