Obituary for Stephen Leon Linton Stephen Leon Linton
U. S. Army Veteran Was Retired Greenbrier Bartender

Stephen Leon Linton, 62, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

Steve was born February 14, 1957 in Marlinton, WV, the son of the late Marlin Lee and Nora Agnes Hill Linton.

He was a retired bartender from the Greenbrier Hotel, a U. S. Army veteran and attended the New Vision Church in White Sulphur Springs.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Ford Linton on July 12, 2019.

Surviving are his daughter, Leah Linton Quick of Fairlea; son, Ryan Linton of White Sulphur Springs; step-daughter, Amanda Trevino White of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Isabella Laken White, Nyla Jocelyn White, Gia Gabriella White, Thea Adelie White, Rielan Marie Linton, Bradley Ivan Linton, Naudia Quick and Acacia Harbor; father-in-law, Donald "Bo" Ford of White Sulphur Springs; sister, Sonya Bucklen (David) of Organ Cave; brothers, Butch Linton (Barbara) of Lewisburg and Chris Linton (Susan) of Organ Cave.

A joint memorial service with his wife, Donna Ford Linton, will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Kathie Holland officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday January 12, 2020 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
