Barbara Farrow Miller, 82, of Lexington, Virginia died Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Lewis Gale Medical Center.

Born October 4, 1937 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late William Dixon Farrow and Elizabeth Weaver Farrow.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Miller Sr.; stepmother, Ruby Farrow; brother, Elburn Farrow; and stepsisters, Mary McFaddin and Marjorie Goodbar.

Barbara retired in 1997 from Waddell School cafeteria after 17 years of service. She loved gardening, canning, baking and cooking.

Surviving are her children, Barbara Miller (Kathy) Sloan, Robert Lee Miller Jr. and Brenda Miller Anderson; sisters, Helen Keith of Buchanan, and Joyce Maynard of Henderson, N.C.; brother, Kenneth Farrow of Mint Springs; grandchildren, Devin Russell Sloan, Jeremy Travis Anderson and Cara Elizabeth Anderson; and great grandchild, Cameron Russell Sloan.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25 at Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. William Bearden officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the charity of your choice.
