Jean Elizabeth Callison, 94, of Monterey, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at her home.

She was born April 20, 1925 in Covington, a daughter of the late Herman William and Bessie Hazeltine (Rogers) Campbell.

On August 21, 1948 she married Homer "Dutch" Lamme Callison.

In addition to her parents and husband of 65 years, she was predeceased by her brothers, Herman William Jr. and Guy Martin Campbell.

Mrs. Callison is survived by her sister-in-law, Debeorah L. Callison of Stuarts Draft; nieces, Jolene Dare Callison Weigel of Manassas, Jacqueline Annette Callison of Union Bridge, MD, Lea Michelle Burden of Greeley, CO and Lisa Campbell; a grand-nephew; six grand-nieces; two great grand-nieces; as well as her devoted church family.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Highland County Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Davis officiating. A committal service will be held 12 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 in Leeds Cemetery in Markham, Va.
