White Sulphur Springs Resident Was Longtime LPN

Doris Carol Snyder Bostic Mines, 72, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at home after a long illness.

Born September 26, 1947 at Oceana, W.Va., she was the last surviving daughter of the late John Michael and Sarah Curtisene Webb Snyder.

She was a retired LPN having worked for several nursing homes and finally with Alleghany Regional Hospital at Low Moor, Virginia.

Doris loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, making crafts and was a talented artist painting many pictures.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy R. Bostic on March 18, 2011; sisters, Janet Mentz, Cleda Feury, and Ann Mentz; a brother, Mike Snyder.

She is survived by her children, Regina Bostic Miller, Clifford Bostic and Brian Bostic, all of White Sulphur Springs; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated and no services are to be held.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
