Obituary for Jerry L. Trigg Jerry L. Trigg
Former Davis Stuart Employee Was Ronceverte Resident

Jerry L. Trigg, 71, went home to be with the Lord, February 2, 2020 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness.

Born August 1, 1948 in Roanoke, Virginia, he was the son of the late William T. Trigg and Lillie J. Dunlap Woods.

Jerry loved life, Bethesda Church and talking to anyone who would listen. He had many close friends and family that he cherished.

He was employed by Davis Stuart Inc. for thirty-six years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maude T. Dunlap and an uncle, Billy Dunlap.

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Linda M. Jones Trigg; daughter, Myra Davis (Reggie) of Roanoke, VA; sons, Chad Jones (Pam) of Roanoke, VA and Pastor Aaron Trigg (Diana) of Rainelle, WV; foster son, Marvin Skyles (Denise) of Charleston, WV; aunt, Justine Noll of Union, WV; uncle, Robert Dunlap (Paulette) of Heath, OH; grandchildren, Alex and Chad Jones Jr., Chyna Jones, Rjai Davis and Malachi Davis, and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with his son, Pastor Aaron Trigg and Pastor Chad Dingess officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service. The family requests no flowers be purchased since he will be cremated.
