John Morrison Hiser, 74, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, formerly of Fort Springs and Caldwell, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at the White Sulphur Springs Center.

John was born April 5, 1945, the son of the late William Basil and Sadie Copenhaver Hiser.

John was retired from the Greenbrier Resort, where he was in golf course maintenance. He also formerly served as Constable for the city of Alderson.

Other than his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, William Ray "Bill" Hiser, and wife, Patty Hiser.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheryl Wikle of Hinton; grandson, Shawn Blankenship of Wayside; nephews, Aaron Hiser, William "Pug" Hiser; niece, Tammy Hiser, along with many cousins, and close friends.

John donated his body to the Human Gift Registry at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
