Evelyn Thomas Ferguson, 102, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Shenandoah Valley Health & Rehab.

Born August 17, 1917 in Erbacon, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William A. Thomas and Ella Davis Thomas.

She was a member of the Stone Church of the Brethren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Ferguson.

Surviving are one niece, Sharon Thomas; three nephews, William E. Mearns, Keith Evicson and Jim Bobbitt; one great-nephew, Mike Bobbitt; and a special friend, Helen Watts.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Galen Combs.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
