Mr. Guy Edward Sites, age 84, of Covington, Virginia died Friday, February 28, 2020 at Virginia Veterans Care Center, Roanoke.

Mr. Sites was born November 2, 1935 in Covington, the son of the late Austin Gordon Sites and Oda Bennett Sites.

He served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Guy was employed as a salesman by Sears before his retirement on October 30, 1999.

Mr. Sites is survived by his two sons, Guy Edward "Eddie" Sites Jr. of Lynchburg and Paul Lee Sites and wife, Colleen of Forest; beloved friend, Carolyn Pierce of Covington; five grandchildren, Amber Sites, John K. Sites, Cody M. Sites, Nicole Sites and Matthew Sites; great grand-children, Mazie Sites and Cadence Sites.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sites was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Sizer.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Stump officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from noon until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Holy Cross Academy, 2485 Rivermont Ave., P. O. Box 3200, Lynchburg, Va 24503-3200.
