Roy Kenton Watkins Sr., 85, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia died Friday, February 28, 2020 at his home.

Born September 3, 1934 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late John Harvey Watkins Sr. and Glennie Johnson Watkins.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and worked for the U. S. Forest Service for many years.

Surviving are his children, Donna Beverley, Kenny Watkins, Roy Watkins Jr. and Irene Watkins; a brother, Wilmer Watkins; a sister, Rose Breeden; a step-daughter, Sherry Wright; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a special friend, Lillian Noel.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Tolley Family Cemetery. Friends may gather with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Faith Baptist Church.
