Paul Brooks Thompson Jr., 61, of Lexington, Virginia died Monday, March 16, 2020 at his home.

He was born December 6, 1958 in Virginia, a son of Frances King Templeton and the late Paul Brooks Thompson Sr.

Paul was an assistant director of RARO since 1990.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Thompson; daughters, Tiffany Wade (Joey) and Sarah Thompson (Brad); grandchildren, Justin, Laura, Tyler, Kennedy; nephews, Jason and Ray Thompson; brothers, Bobby Thompson and Stevie Hunt; sisters, Jan Shelton and Teresa McCormick; and very special family, Mitsy and Vincent Leslie, Gail and Larry Blackwell, Butch and Anne Hostetter; many, many special friends, nieces, nephews and a very special companion, Daisy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
