Louis Hampton Newsome, Sr., 79, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away March 31, 2020 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

Louis was born March 5, 1941 in Union, WV, the son of the late Louis T. and Delilah Carter Newsome.

He was affiliated with St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church and worked at the Greenbrier Hotel.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae Brooks Newsome.

Those left to cherish Louis' memory are his daughters, Frances Newsome of White Sulphur Springs and Charleen Newsome North Carolina; son, Louis H. "Hampy" Newsome of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Jerrell Newsome, Jalesha Newsome, Isaac Newsome and Keyonne McKoy; sisters, Alice Gore and Charlotte Gooch Gordan, both of White Sulphur Springs and Julia Newsome of Lynchburg, VA, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the Covid 19 guidelines there will be a memorial service once this passes.
