Carol Ray Fox, 83, of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at GVMC.

Born on October 8, 1936 at Duo, WV, he was the son of the late Oliver Clyde Fox and Laura Davis Fox.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Jean Fox; a son, Keith Ray Fox and a son-in-law, Clyde Cook.

Carol was a retired coal miner and a farmer and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Workman and Carol Cook, both of Lewisburg; grandson, Alex (Cendleyn) Workman; granddaughter, Samantha (Eddie) Castro and one great grandchild, Jayda Workman and one on the way.

A private family graveside will be held at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
