Charles Vance Wright, 69, of Jessup, Maryland, formerly of Warm Springs, Virginia, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

He was born May 31, 1950 in Bath County, Virginia, the son of the late Oliver Ceasar Wright, Sr. and Lyda Scott Wright Wright.

Mr. Wright was formerly employed as a horse trainer. He loved working with horses and visiting with friends and family.

He is survived by a brother, Ricky Wright of Warm Springs; two sisters, Reene Lemon of Silver Spring, Maryland and Ollie Scruggs of Warm Springs; a sister-in-law, Barbara Wright; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Due to the current health situation a memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in West Warm Springs Cemetery.
