John Franklin Tingler, 30, of 308 Armentrout Road, Covington, Virginia died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Tingler was born July 1, 1989 in Roanoke, a son of J. W. Tingler, Jr. of Covington and the late Karen Brennan Tingler.

John was a 2007 graduate of Alleghany High School. He was employed as a small engine service writer at Covington Farm and Fuel in Covington.

Surviving in addition to his father are his grandparents, James and Ann Tingler of Covington; a cousin, Rachel Seymour, of Covington.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.
