Obituary for Ethel Mae Coffey Napier Ethel Mae Coffey Napier
Longtime Greenbrier Medical Center Nurse Was White Sulphur Springs Native

Ethel Mae Coffey Napier, 79, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

She was born March 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Andrew and Myrtle Banton Coffey of White Sulphur Springs, WV.

Ethel dedicated her life to healing others as a nurse at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. She retired in 2001 after 30 years of service in nursing.

In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Terry Lynn.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Tommy Lee; son, Kevin Napier (Cindi); her two grandsons, Brett and Seth; her brother, Elmo Coffey (Martha); her sister, Barbara Alderman (Dale) and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be Friday, April 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, WV.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peyton Hospice House at 1265 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, WV 24901 or White Sulphur Springs Baptist Church at P. O. Box 277, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986.
