Ruth Terry Ramsey, 82, of Lexington, Virginia died Monday, April 20, 2020 at Benjamin Borden Health Center.

Born July 7, 1937 in Goshen, she was a daughter of the late Golden Homer Terry and Annie Pearl Hostetter Terry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lynwood Thompson Campbell Jr.; husband, Robert Lee Ramsey; sister, Nellie Boyd; and a brother, Robert Terry. Ruth was our loving mother and sister.

Surviving are her children, Gerry L. Campbell (Nancy), David A. Campbell, Tammy C. Bower (Troy), and Charles R. Ramsey; three brothers, Junior Terry, Homer Terry and Jessie Terry; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces, Susan Ray and Virginia Mae Clark, and also several other nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service was held at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Sheldon Sorrels officiating.

Arrangements were by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
