Adrienne Elaine Pennington, 72, of Lexington, Virginia died Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born June 2, 1947 in Harrisonburg, she was a daughter of Walter Steele and Ella Virginia Monroe Steele.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Steele; sister, Georgia Pennington; and brother, Donald Steele.

Surviving is her sister, Hazel Taylor of Harrisonburg.

A private graveside service was conducted on Thursday, April 30 at the Early Cemetery.
