Roger Lewis Irish, age 80, of 1219 Concord Street, Selma, Virginia passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at his residence.

He was born November 15, 1939 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to the late Lewis and Carol Johnson Irish.

He was a retired oil service technician for Howard Johnson Oil Company.

He is survived by his wife, Ingeborg Heining Irish of Selma; three step daughters; a step son; 9 step grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
