Obituary for Joseph Daniel (PeeWee) Foster, Sr. Joseph Daniel (PeeWee) Foster, Sr.
Ronceverte Resident Retired From Jiffy Foam

Joseph Daniel (PeeWee) Foster, Sr., age 72, of Ronceverte, West Virginia passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020.

Born January 19, 1948 at Ronceverte, he was a son of the late James Warden and Altha Elizabeth Campbell Foster.

"PeeWee" was of the Baptist faith, and worked for Jiffy Foam for 42 years before retiring. Along with his wife, Daisy, he was hardworking and was loved by all of their nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Ethel Mann Foster; and sisters, Sarah A. Weikle, and Carol F. Turner.

Survivors include his son, Joseph D. Foster, Jr. and companion, Alissa Bittinger of Lewisburg; daughters, Crystal Foster and companion, John Linthicum of Lewisburg, Sara Foster in Ronceverte; sisters, Verna Wade May and husband, George of White Sulphur Springs, and Linda Weikle and husband, Sterling of Union; brother, Leroy Foster of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Kayle Foster, Nathaniel Linthicum, John Linthicum "L.J.", and Brooklynn Carter.

There will be a joint service with his beloved wife, Daisy Foster.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., at Wild Meadow Baptist Church with Pastor Gary DeVart and Pastor Lewis Brooks officiating. Joint graveside services will follow at Fullen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Wild Meadow Baptist Church.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
