White Sulphur Springs Resident Was Vietnam War Veteran, Former Downer Hardware Employee
Allen Leroy Moran, 73, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away Friday, June 6, 2020 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.
Allen was born July 11, 1946 in White Sulphur Springs and was the son of Ruby Howard Moran and the late Jamie Moran.
Allen was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a handyman having worked at Downer Hardware in Covington, Virginia.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Porterfield Moran; mother, Ruby Howard Moran; sons, Jamie Moran of Gap Mills, WV, Todd Wiley of White Sulphur Springs and Andy Wiley of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Colin Wiley and Brandon Kolk; sister, Martha Denton of Ohio; brothers, James "Butch" Moran of White Sulphur Springs, Jody Moran of Annapolis, MD, Donald "Duck" Moran of White Sulphur Springs and Marty Moran of White Sulphur Springs.
Per Allen's request he is to be cremated and there will be a private family service at a later date.
The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
