Obituary for William Adair (Bill) Tiffany, Jr. William Adair (Bill) Tiffany, Jr.
U. S. Army Veteran Was UPS Truck Driver, Announcers' Singer, Temple Baptist Church Member

William Adair (Bill) Tiffany, Jr., age 81, of 203 Interstate Drive, Covington, Virginia died Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

Bill was born on October 20, 1938 in North Fork, Virginia to the late William Adair Tiffany, Sr. and Amy Lee Rose Tiffany.

He served in the United States Army Reserves and retired as a Master Sargent.

Bill was also truck driver for United Parcel Service and after he retired from there he went on to be a school bus driver for Loudoun County and Alleghany County Public Schools. He was the CDL instructor at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, a member of Temple Baptist Church and sang with The Announcers gospel music group, for whom he also drove the travel bus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Etta Littrell Tiffany.

He is survived by three children, Amy Tiffany and Robert Tiffany, both of Leesburg, and Karen Benoit and husband, George of Clifton Forge; three grandchildren, Brett Benoit and wife, Katlyn of Botetourt County, Amanda Benoit of North Carolina, and Derek Benoit of Clifton Forge; and a great grandchild, Beckham Benoit.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in Temple Baptist Church, Covington, with Reverend Bill Hartsfield officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling arrangements.
