Ronald Lee (Ron) Shafer of Alderson, WV passed away June 16, 2020.

Born September 6, 1967 in Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of Donald and Deanna Shafer.

Ronald was a member of the former Caldwell Presbyterian Church, and attended Zion's Light Baptist Church. He was a member of Modern Woodmen, and was an employee of First Energy.

Ronald is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Susie Chambers, and Royd and Marie Shafer; a brother, Wayne Shafer, a sister, Kimberly Shafer, and an uncle, Danny Shafer.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Heather Graham and husband, Billy; a sister-in-law, Julie Shafer; nieces, Taylor Graham and Calah Shafer; nephews, Adam Shafer and Jacob Graham, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Gary Baker, and Pastor Mark Shafer officiating. Burial will follow in the McLean cemetery, Ronceverte, WV.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, Friday at the funeral home. Due to the regulations associated with Covid-19 the family is requesting that guests wear masks, and observe social distancing.
