Brenda Campbell Burks, 73, of 512 Brussels Ave., Clifton Forge died Saturday, June 20, 2020 in Lewis-Gale Medical Center, Salem.

Mrs. Burks was born August 8, 1946 in Bath County, the daughter of the late Odie Campbell Sr. and Lucille Hicks Campbell.

In addition to her parents, she preceded by her husband, Roy N. "Buck" Burks; one brother, Odie Campbell, Jr. and two nephews.

Brenda was a teacher at the former Alleghany Highlands Christian Church. She also worked the sound system for the "Expressions".

Surviving are a daughter, Renae Burks and Eric Wolfe of Clifton Forge; one sister, Angela Cash and her husband, Steve of Blue Ridge, and number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Campbell Family Cemetery in Bath County. Arrangements are being handle by Arritt Funeral Home.
