Peggy Powell Allen, 75, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home.

She was born May 4, 1945 in Lexington, a daughter of the late Alvin Armstrong Powell and Uldene St. Clair Powell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Willie, Linda, Ruby, and a dear friend who passed April 22, 2009, Claude Albert Mohler.

Peggy was a member of the Faith Baptist Church and retired from Mohawk Carpet Factory after many years of service.

Surviving are children, Ellie Sue Lemons and her husband, Chuck of Natural Bridge Station, Joey Beverly and wife, Cindy of Buena Vista, Alvin Mohler and wife, Delsie of Natural Bridge Station; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 31 nieces and nephews and a friend, April Chittum.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Terry Bostic.
