Linden Paxton Persinger, 64, of 1619 Edgewood Ave., Covington, Virginia died Friday, July 10, 2020 in Henrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond.

Mrs. Persinger was born April 5, 1956 in Clifton Forge, a daughter of the late Bernie and Dorothy Montgomery Paxton.

Linden retired from Ritschs Cleaners.

Surviving is her husband, Jerry Persinger of Covington; a daughter, Tammy Horn and husband, Tim of Covington; two stepdaughters, Melissa Richmond of Clifton Forge and Tina Persinger of Covington; a stepson, Jerry Persinger Jr. and wife, Melissa of Covington; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Bertha Paxton of Clifton Forge, Kathy Paxton of Roanoke, Betty Paxton; two brothers, Russell Paxton of Covington and David Paxton of Iron Gate; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes her body has been cremated.

A service will be scheduled at a later date.

The arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.
