Dellen Moore Ware, 80, of Penn Laird, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Willow Estates.

Born August 25, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Hall Ware and Rilda Marie Moore Ware.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Ware, and her daughter, Karen Carosi-Baker.

Dellen retired as a registered nurse, having worked at Western State hospital. She enjoyed psychiatry the most and also loved cats.

Surviving are her granddaughter, Chelsea D. Carosi, of Staunton; and a brother, Lane Moore, of Parkersburg, W.Va. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, at Timber Ridge A. R. Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Philip Morgan officiating.
