Obituary for Betty Burch Fauber Betty Burch Fauber
Lifelong Buena Vista Resident Dies At Age 80

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Betty Burch Fauber, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died at her home on August 3, 2020.

She was born November 13, 1939 and lived her entire life in the Buena Vista area.

She had recently experienced multiple health problems and was in various health care facilities. Her last wish was to return home so that she could be with her family and kitty companion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joffrey Burch and Lutie Tomlin Burch, and her husband, Frank Fauber.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Penny Fauber of Buena Vista; and her sons, Danny (Carol) Fauber of Chester, and Kevin (Nita) Fauber of Buena Vista. She had six grandchildren, Seth Moore, Michael Fauber, Mitchel Fauber, Shaina Hartless, Morgan Becker and Hannah Fauber. She also had three great-grandchildren, Khai Hartless, Kace Hartless, and Luttie Joy Becker. Betty is also survived by her "little" sister, Audrey Burch Breeden of Durham. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends, as well as her beloved rescue kitty, FiFi. A special thanks to niece, Ginne Jo Harris.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will be at Betty's house on Wednesday, August 5 from 3 to 6 p.m. for family and friends who would like to briefly visit. The family requests that you wear a mask to the house.

A graveside service will be conducted at Green Hill Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. by Pastor Christian Becker. Again, masks required. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Rockbridge Area Hospice or to Cats Unlimited.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
