William David (Dave) Hostetter, 87, of Lexington, Virginia passed away peacefully on August 13, 2020 at a Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee.

Dave had been a resident at Christian Care Center in Bristol following a fall in May 2018.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, William Peachie and Nellie Rachel Hostetter; a brother, Thomas "Tom" Hostetter; and two sisters, Marie Hostetter and Grace Hostetter Ruley.

He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Hostetter Nicastro of Bristol; one grandson, Samuel "Dominic" Nicastro; one sister, Becky Hostetter Vest; and three special sisters-in-law, Rebecca Wright Knick, who was more like a daughter, Barbara Wright Turner and Sue Wright Spiker. She also leaves behind an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, his church family and beloved friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at Harrison Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18 at 11 a.m. by Pastor Gregory Close and the Rev. Dean Station. Entombment will be private.
