Obituary for Roger Lee Bostic Roger Lee Bostic
White Sulphur Springs Resident Dies At Age 77

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Roger Lee Bostic, who passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.

He was born in White Sulphur Springs, WV on January 22, 1943, the son of his late parents, Raymond Alexander and Ilda Gladys Fridley Bostic.

At 77 years old, Roger had blessed the many lives he had come in contact with over the years with both his wisdom and humor. With an unmatched work ethic he always led those around him by example on the traditions that hard work always pays off.

Roger was someone who cherished family and friendship and you can see the mark he has left on all he knew in their hearts and stories that we could all tell of our times with him.

Whether these memories and stories are those of times in the woods spent together, traveling the roads, the laughs we all shared with him and his family in his house, or the countless others, it is within these memories that Roger lives on in all of our hearts and minds.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant brother, Glenn.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Wilson Bostic; son, Curtis Lee Bostic and wife, Christina Propps of White Sulphur Springs; sisters, Barbara McPherson of Lake City, FL, Shirley Loudermilk and husband, Blayne of Frankford, Patti Masters and husband, Sam of Ronceverte, and Ruby Gibon, Clover, SC; Eugene Bostic and wife, Pat of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, Cordel Lee, and Colton Hunter.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 26th 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Charles Feury officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 25th 2020 at Wallace & Wallace in White Sulphur Springs from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Arrangements are being handled by the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home.
