Obituary for Harold Dean Weikel, Sr. Harold Dean Weikel, Sr.
Covington Native Was Army Veteran; Worked With Hercules Corp.

Harold Dean Weikel, Sr., 83, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Brier Nursing and Rehab Center in Ronceverte.

Harold was born October 30, 1936 in Covington, Virginia, the son of the late Richard and Sophia Rayhill Weikel, Sr.

He was of the Methodist faith, an Army veteran, a former member of the White Sulphur Springs Lions Club, avid golfer and member of Valley View Country Club, former Justice of the Peace and worked in the shipping department with the Hercules corporation.

Other than his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Victoria Correa.

Surviving Harold are his wife, Treva Tingler Weikel, daughter, Pamela Correa of White Sulphur Springs and son, Dean Weikel and his wife, Teresa of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Whitney Correa, Hunter Weikel and Evan Correa.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Paint Bank Community Cemetery in Paint Bank, Virginia with pastor John Kelly officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.

We will be following guidelines as set out by State and County officials due to Covid19.
