White Sulphur Springs Resident Worked With The Greenbrier For Forty Years

Freddie A. Pitsenbarger, 77, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.

He was born September 20, 1942 in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Henry and Eva Welch Pitsenbarger.

Freddie was a member of Eakle Chapel United Methodist Church.

He worked on the grounds for 40 years at the Greenbrier Hotel , trimming trees, in the boiler room, and then in the heating and air conditioning department.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: James, David, Arthur and Eugene.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mildred Terry Pitsenbarger; daughter, Terri Pitsenbarger of Lewisburg; stepdaughters, Denise Allen and her husband, Pete of Gap Mills and Pamela Cochran and her husband, Denny of White Sulphur Springs; son, Scotty Peake and his wife, Bethany of White Sulphur Springs; sister, Bonnie Martin and her husband, Calvin of White Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with Rev. Ed Craft officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery at Fort Spring.

The family will receive their friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
