Buena Vista Native Was White Sulphur Springs Resident

Lucille Mason Davis Wykle, 91, of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at The Brier.

Born May 20, 1929 at Buena Vista, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Buzz and Mary Agnes Robinson Mason.

Lucille loved cooking, eating and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Davis and her second husband, Zernie Wykle; daughters, Jeanette Treynor and Peggy Davis; stepchildren, William, Edgar, Hubert and Kenny Wykle, Ilene Cornish and several sisters.

Survivors include one son, Lawrence Davis of Roanoke, VA; step sons, Lee Wykle (Ann) of Tennessee, James Wykle of Elyria, OH and Richard Wykle of White Sulphur Springs, WV; step daughters, Barbara Bostic (Burless) of Maxwelton, WV, Linda Carrington (William) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Dorothy Harbaugh of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Margaret Williams of Trout, WV,; grandchildren, Mary Fridley (Rennie) of Hematite, WV, Ray Higgins (Shelby) of Staunton, VA and Billy Higgins (Linda) of Callaghan, VA; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista, VA. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the funeral home.

We will be following COVID-19 regulations and request guests wear a mask and be mindful of social distancing.
